Week 6: 13 stone 7.5lb BMI 33.48 (-15lbs) **

Half a pound, half a pound thats all I lost!!! Not happy but at least it's off and not on. I have decided its time to go back to basics and stop those treats sneaking in such as packets of crisps at lunch time ;O)

I have made a big impact on the xtrainer and been on most nights for 40 minutes but not really walked far in my shape-ups so Im going to get up a bit earlier and make an effort. Last night I stopped off at the Chinese and had a spring roll and split a portion of special curry and fried rice with the hubby. I can honestly say I didn't enjoy it and the Asian food I have been cooking out of the WW books has been so much nicer and tastier.

I have decided to buy a bike and save some cash during the summer as fuel prices are rocketing. The bikes not cheap but I figure by taking a packed lunch, cutting down on the alcohol and stopping the take aways I will be saving a fortune so why not ;O)

Week 5: 13 stone 8lb BMI 33.67 (-14.5lbs) **

This week I purchased a pair of Sketchers shape ups and to be honest I thought they would probably be a bit of a gimick but I have to confess I am seriously impressed with them. I walked 5 miles in them yesterday and it was like walking on air. No pains, no aches and best of all it felt like I could walk forever.

I have still not made it to Zumba but I have been on the xtrainer every day and feeling motivated. Food wise I have made wise choices and cooked from scratch every evening from the oriental book which is basically throw it all in a wok and bingo delicous tasty and filling foods. My treat for tonight is a small bottle of wine - I think I deserve it.

Week 4: 13 stone 11.5lb BMI 34.18 (-11lbs) **

So this week saw a great loss of 3lbs and achieving my first 5% loss. TBH I have not had the motivation to do any exercise so not quite sure how I managed it? I have however been sticking to the plan and using all my weeklies as well as the daily points so goes to show it works. A commment that made me smile today came from a lady at my meeting who recognised me from last year. She said it was her 10th time round and asked me how many times I had tried WW? I told her it was my third attempt and she said, "we are like recyclables" Love it

Week 3: 14 stone 0.5lb BMI 34.73 (-8lbs) **


7 Deadly Sins
Anger, Greed, Sloth, Pride, Lust, Envy, and Gluttony.

I got to thinking about the 7 deadly sins and how many "sins" we display in a week well as the saying goes pride comes before a fall and as Pride is a deadly sin I confess to being a sinner.

Pride
Saturday. Wow how amazing am I? A whole 7 pounds Im unstoppable.

Anger
Monday. There I was minding my own business on way to a Zumba class when BANG great there goes my tyre. Im in the middle of nowhere, mobile phone flat, wearing heels and no cash on me. Temper boiling I drive home on a flat totally ruining the tyre and car not best pleased with me. So I dont go to Zumba feel annoyed with myself, tske it out on other half and end up paying for a new wheel - great.

Gluttony
Tuesday. Though Shalt not consume a whole bag of mini eggs on way home from work and carefully dispose of said incriminating evidence in the bottom of the bin.

Sloth
Wednesday. I really should be on the xtrainer but the sofa is just hugging me and trash TV is so good - never mind I will do an hour in the morning before work (never happened).

Lust
Nope pass on this one no lusting Im a married woman :o) Although I confess to having a girl crush on Cheryl Cole

Greed
Friday. Sat at desk day dreaming about the £68 million Im going to win tonight on the Euro Millions.

Envy
Saturday. The girl who started same week as me and lost 6.5lbs on her 1st week (I lost 7 **smug**)well she lost 5.5lbs today to my 1lb. Not so smug today and that takes me right back to where we started... Pride does come before a fall afterall.

This week I will be a saint, throw away that pesky pitchfork and get the halo polish out. Have a good week everyone.

Week 2: 14 stone 1.5lb BMI 34.92 (-7lbs)

A whopping loss of 7lb in week 1. I am not fooling myself I have been down this path so many times before the difference this time I realise that Rome wasnt built in a day so I know next week I just have to focus on staying the same or a 1lb loss. Either way an excellent start and just the buzz I need.

This week will see me going to Zumba class on Tuesday which by all accounts is supposed to be good fun. For me this is 1 of the challenges I have set myself I have zero coordination and zero rythm so lets see how it goes

Week 1: 14Stone 8.5lbs BMI 36.13



Well after a year away Im back, am I slim? No, Have I put on all the weight I lost? Yes, however this is the new me with a whole new attitude to life and a new approach to weight loss. I have read back over my blog and the reasons for me wanting to lose weight were purely for vanity and the wedding. Well I did get married to the most wonderful man in the world and no I wasnt a size 8 but I did slim down and it was the happiest day of my life.

So whats new, well I came to realise that my life was a bit empty and I had no real hobbies or interests so 2011 is all about change and the first change starts with me. I rejoined WW last week and weighed in at 14 stone 8.5lbs ouch however every journey starts with a single step.
